πŸ€” Is the iOS 18 beta safe to download?

Last week I installed the first version of the public iOS 18 beta. I usually wait until beta 4, so it was quite scary for me to update this early...😳

Is it stable? Are there a lot of bugs? Is it safe to download the beta this early? Here's my experience after 1 week of usage!πŸ‘‡

In my week of beta usage I have encountered 2 bugs...

Bug 1: It takes a while for wallpapers to load in the lockscreen switcher.πŸ˜… Now I must admit that I got a ton of lockscreens in there (think 50+), but this never occurred with iOS 17.πŸ˜•

This isn't a big issue though, but the second bug kinda is...

Bug 2: It's happened twice now that my Photo's app would go blank and stop working.😨 Both times I could easily solve it by closing the app and reopening it again, but this could turn into a bigger issue for me if it occurs more often. That's because I have all of my content loaded in here...🫠

Overall though, I would say that it's a really solid first beta version that runs extremely smoothly!πŸ™Œ

Anyway, that's my experience with the iOS 18 public beta so far! Apple still doesn't recommended to install a beta of any kind on your primary device though, so keep that in mind!😊

In today's issue!πŸ‘‡ πŸ˜… Please don't download iOS 26 πŸ“Έ iPhone photo of the weekπŸ”— App recommendation πŸ˜… Please don't download iOS 26 I've seen a lot of people online download the iOS 26 Developer Beta, but please don't do this!😬 This beta is extremely buggy, as it's just meant for developers to get a hang of the new OS and test their apps on it!πŸ‘¨πŸΌπŸ’» This means that a lot of standard iPhone features won't work properly and there will be nothing you can do to fix it until a newer beta comes out. If...
